Tuesday evening Club rides
2016 Tuesday Club Rides:
Its that time of year again and with the arrival of British summer time our Tuesday rides start at 6pm from Ride 24/7. These rides are group based depending on ability. We will be starting with the Fairford short route, as the evenings get longer the routes will vary.
If you are a new rider and fancy testing our rides out then please come along and try a few out. Once you have attended 3 you will be asked to join the Club.
All Club Members Must:
1 – Display you Ride 24/7 membership card on your seat post (no card no ride)
2 – Sign on the Whiteboard before you leave in the appropriate group
3 – Use a rear light (its still early in the year and the light goes fast).
4 – Maintain the average speed expected in you group.
Fairford Short Route:
Leave Ride 24/7 behind the shop and join the London road, follow this onto the main road towards Fairford. Just past Poulton turn right at Mersey Hampton. Follow the road towards Down Ampney and ride thought the village turning right onto the main Latton road. Approach the roundabout with the A419 and turn left joining the spine road. Follow the spine road until you reach Somerford Keynes. Turn right into the village and go past the Bakers Arms pub on your left. Turn left and take the road to Ewen this will take you past the Old Duck pub. Join the road back to Cirencester (Strava segment Ride 24/7 The Last Roller) before you will turn left into the Love Lane area of Cirencester. Meet back at Somewhere Else for a beer with the rest of the club.
